Fiamani XBishop real names Amani Robbin Bishop is a rapper turned singer/composer/Mc and Human rights activist based in WestNile. X earned himself street popularity doing freestyles, rapping, acting drama skits, dancing and miming to his idols like Eminem, 2pac, Jay Z and others. He later hit studio in 2012 to do his first tracks such as ‘Ongo tu bo’, ‘Aringa ga’ and ‘Aa Ba Ca’ that got massive reception from the audience. The rapper then got recognized by the Hip hop legend LMB rags at the time who signed him to his ‘Dribiti’ entertainment crew which unfortunately didn’t have much to offer an individual artist. A year later in 2013, X became the first artist to represent WestNile in the Hip hop boot camp and got recognized for his composition abilities. On coming back from the camp, X featured on a collabo dubbed ‘Saka nabu’ with Controlla which received massive airplay in the region. X then took a break from active music to concentrate on his Education as demanded by his family, attaining a Bachelors’ degree in Gender and Human rights from Makerere university in the process. X intends to use his humble family background to tell a global story inspired by a Hip hop led life. He is inspired by the memories of his grandfather who was a great societal artist and his mother who passed on when he was a kid. To mark his return to active music, Bishop is working on his first ever studio album he calls “NUCLEAR WEAPON’ meant to reintroduce him to the scene. He believes he has the potential to open WestNile to the whole world musically.
