Gossip | The Northern link UG | West Nile’s Newest TV on the block, Rhino TV has kicked off its’ second show which is purely entertainment-based. The platform had started out with one show which only covered sports but now a new segment has been brought forth to cover entertainment.
The new show dubbed “The Nile vibes’ is meant to run throughout the week though it is not yet consistent as some technical aspects are being put in place. However, this show is particularly meant to create a platform to expose the local acts since there have never been any.
The show which is hosted by popular nightlife MC Ojey Jaxon and the music input by DJ Poppa has since grabbed the attention of many fans more so West Nilers’ in the Diaspora who seem to be delighted with the content as seen through feedback on the page. According to the host Ojey, the administration decided that priority has to be given to the local industry such that it can be exported. He urges entertainers to be open to such platforms and encourages artists to embark on more video content.
The first week of the show has seen a couple of artists hosted and the feedback has been positive especially given the music content which many have failed to access. With the pace at which it has kicked off, many anticipate it could rise to be one of the biggest shows in the land.
Rhino TV is at its’ kick-off stages and yet running on its digital media platforms of Facebook and Youtube before a fully established TV will be rolled out.
The team behind Rhino TV initially started out as West Nile TV but was recently robbed of the brand name by an investor who fully registered and owned the rights to the name. This team, therefore, joined hands with West Nile web to create the content for Rhino TV and so far it all looks good.
